Dr Fatima Naveed (she/her)

I am a PDRA in the Department of English & Creative Writing, working on the AHRC-funded "Empathy, Narratives and Cultural Values" project, in collaboration with the University of Birmingham.

Previously, I have been a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Institute for Advanced Studies in the Humanities (IASH) at the University of Edinburgh, working on a project titled "Censoring a Nation." I am the 2025 winner of the Bloomsbury Academic Writing Fellowship, designed to support emerging Black, Asian or Ethnically Diverse (BAED) authors develop their idea through to final manuscript stage.
