Mykyta was born in Donetsk region, Ukraine and obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Philology (Language and Literature – English) in 2010, a Master’s degree in Philology (Language and Literature – English, German) in 2011, and an additional qualification in Translation/Interpreting in 2011 from Donetsk National University, Ukraine. After that, he pursued a PgDip in International Development Studies at the University of Portsmouth, UK (2017). Before moving to Exeter for his PhD research, he worked with VFS Global, MSF, OSCE and UNOPS as a Project Manager, Project Assistant, Language Assistant, Translator, Interpreter, and Communications Senior Associate.
