My specialism is literature of the long nineteenth century, particuarly early sci-fi or 'speculative' fiction. Having completed my PhD at Exeter in 2020, I have previously held a lecturing position at St Mary's University London (2022), before accepting my current role of Lecturer of English at Exeter.
